Welcome to Frou Frou Zoo. We are a fun and unique photography studio in the Durham Region that specializes in retro style pin-ups and vintage portraits.

Why vintage? There is something very nostalgic about looking at the vintage pin-up photos from the 1940s and 50s. The fashion, the hair, the make-up are each pieces of art in and of themselves. The styles were very flattering for all ages and all shapes and sizes. We want to offer our clients a fun alternative to the triditonal portrait or boudoir studio shoot. Our goal at Frou Frou Zoo is to combine a little bit of the old with a little bit of the new. Although we work predominantly in digital, our ability to work with the photos in post-production enables us to replicate that timeless vintage feel.
